Vols: How would you feel about Tee Martin or Brent Venables?

USC fans don't appear to be all that happy with Martin. It'd also be a huge risk to hire a guy who has, what, two years of playcalling experience?
Venables is a great D coordinator, but he has always struck me as a lifelong assistant like Chavis. I'm not sure he has the personality (or want) to be a HC, otherwise you'd think he would have gotten a position by now.

Tee Martin is potentially a program killing hire. Could he be great? Maybe. There is no evidence for this whatsoever.
Years ago I would have agreed about Venables. His defenses seem too shaky. I would be more than a little concerned.

I always want guys from Mobile to succeed in everything but I just dont see it. He has only been an OC for a year. I would think he would have to be a Sun Belt coach first

Hard OUT on Venables.
Tee would be a solid Tier III candidate despite being a very risky hire. He would immediately be a recruiting god for VOLS imo
