Even with UT players falling all over the place. Weird huh?

At that point in the game with 10essee starters being dog tired and demoralized, YES the 3rd string was better.

No, he is saying the Bama 3rd team is better than the ut 2nd team. It has already been established the ut starters were not playing. Or so it's said.

I love how you're acting like our starters were still in the game at that point.

If you listen to the full clip he adds "except Alabama" as a disclaimer. You have to listen very closely though.

There's no excuse for giving up 438 rushing yds. It honestly could have been worse if BAMA hadn't been merciful.

frick those sore winners. Tip you cap and tell them you will see them in December. Sometimes you run into a team that is rolling and Bama has is rolling. They are going to run into some trouble before the season is over. With the schedule the Vols have played they don't owe anyone an apology for their team. Maybe for your trolls, but not for your team.

I hope your team listens to their fat girlfriends telling them how unbeatable they are this week.

Your team is going to have a tough ballgame on their hands Saturday.

Considering how many of Tennessee's starters were injured in the Texas A&M game, it is foolish to read too much into the Alabama loss.

Here's one thing I'm reading into it, though. Go back and look at the first TD...the reverse with Stewart at the 1:15 mark of this clip. The Vol DB...#22 I think...gave an utterly piss poor effort in trying to get through Hurts' block at the 10 yard line to stop Stewart before the endzone. Seriously...a DB is going to wuss out and let the QB win that battle so easily? You've got Alabama's QB as a lead blocker...come hell or high water you better make Hurts pay on that play, even if you don't stop Stewart. Looked like an utterly pathetic effort...especially in a game that is still 0-0.

I agree on that one. I don't know why Abernathy was even in the game tbh. He's got a hairline fracture in his ankle. But there's no excuse to be pushed around like that.

Yeah, the fact that our defense is a shell of itself due to injuries had nothing to do with it. Our two all conference LBs are injured and their backups. I swear some of you are mentally retarded

These guys all missed the Bama game:

Sutton-OUT
Reeves-Maybin-OUT
O'Brien-Kicked off team
Kirkland-OUT
Cortez McDowell-OUT (took over for Reeves-Maybin)
Malik Foreman-OUT (took over for Sutton)

The above 4 were also 4 of the players on defense (+Barnett) and were all seniors except for Kirkland. McKenzie also got hurt in the game.

Still would have lost to Bama with the way they played, but we were playing Ellot Berry and a walkon LBer the majority of snaps at LBer.

Who says this? Saban is the best coach in CFB right now.

No doubt this is a factor...but O'Brien is on Jones. When you have a repeat drug offender get popped, you don't get any sympathy points for that one. Should be prepared and have someone ready to go in his place.

I'm not saying it's an even swap...and these guys had 6 games under their belt before Saturday...but look at all the true freshmen and redshirt freshmen Alabama played on offense. That depleted Vol defense wasn't exactly playing a veteran offense, other than the receiving corps.
