Also, we make fun of Florida for not selling out HOME games. This isn't a home game.
But the Vols can't even do that either

Gary Tennessee sells out home all the time. Crawl out from that rock you live under.

Can't be true. I mean, it's all over the internet that the Vols are back. It's got to be true, right?

Yeah when 1/3 of the stadium is filled with opposing fans
Posted on 9/2/15 at 4:22 pm to bigDgator
Pathetic. Par for the course with the Vols.

Game's caught up with the OBC pal. How the hell does UGA keep losing to that wrinkled up old nutsack.

But Vol fans and commentators have constantly told us how great they are.
All Butch Jones has won is a 2nd tier bowl last year.

I think we'll come close to filling it up/fill it up when it's all said and done

I've been monitoring this situation closely. It will be full by kickoff. Bowling Green has sold less than 500 tickets. That means close to 69k Vols fans are showing up in a city 2.5 hours from their campus to play a non power 5 school. That's about 30k more than Vandy will have on hand vs. WKU in the same city tomorow night and about 9k more than Ole Miss will have on hand at home vs. a non power 5 team.
Perspective. Get Some. V,B.
Also, more concerning to the fellow SEC fans should be the fact that since it's a neutral site game, Tennessee can give out as many tickets to recruits as they want to.
Last check, there were giving out at least 400 tickets to recruits. :)

Hasn't helped UT beat Florida the last 5 times they've played in the Swamp

Another stupid arse college football regular season game in an NFL stadium. I wouldn't pay a dollar to go to that game if I were a UT fan either. Athletic departments have taken the fans for granted way too long. They throw shitty schedules at us and just expect us to pay for it because that is what "a true fan" does. Not anymore. Quit going to these shitty games and it will stop.

Difference is we're playing in middle Tennessee which actually gives more accessibility to a large number of Vol fans. It's not like were playing in Houston or anything.

I actually agree with this. No one wants to spend a long holiday weekend to travel to Nashville, sit in 95 degree weather at 3:00 in the afternoon, to watch UT blow out a MAC school. It's just not appealing for most people. If they already live in Nashville, great. But I just fail to see the allure of the game at all for a UT fan from out of town.

It's still against Bowling Green. Also, UT plays Oklahoma the very next week.
