What's really sad about this is that Bama clearly doesn't even need the help. It's just insult to injury that shite consistently happens. Ole Miss is over matched enough without having to deal with either crooked, biased, or just plain incompetent officials...that strangely "seem" to generally favor Alabama or Auburn.

I said they do that. I didn't say they did it on this play. Try not being a dickhead and read before commenting. Have you ever seen a sideline guy running up and the player tosses him the ball. He then looks to the middle of the field and places the ball down. I never said they did it on this play, but that is how they do it if the other guy has a better look. And yes the guy does look to the middle of the field first. Not that it had anything to do with it.

Maybe he noticed how close the marker was to the first down marker to begin with... and maybe he was looking back at the coach that was screaming with him.

It's just weird to automatically assume someone was on the take based on a 1 second interaction. No one has any idea what was going on down there. To sit in chairs and accuse people of paying refs is ludicrous.

To assume there's nothing to see here is equally ludicrous and even more irresponsible.

It's like sitting in a chair assuming someone thinks the refs are on the take when he stated earlier in the thread it is out of the question to think that.

I don't think the refs are on the take, just really want to see how this is defended as legitimate.

I think buying refs is as absurd a theory as anything,

The thing is, they probably don't even have to.

So you are saying that sometimes the umpire will run to mark a sideline spot, the side judge will mark the ball at the umpires foot then the ball will be transferred to the hash mark? Oh yeah, I agree. That does happen often.

Of course like you said, that didnt happen here. Nothing even close to that happened. As a matter of fact the umpire wasn't even looking at a spot much less marking it.

So you proposed a solution to why the side judge was moving the ball that didn't happen. Sorry for my confusion.

There is a reason it is not shown.

Agreed, seems like it was a close call from what I can tell.

Not like this play mattered in the grand scheme of things.

Every time an obvious example of shitty reffing in the SEC pops up, the fans of the team that benefits automatically assume the people bitching think the refs are on the take.

I don't think the refs actually get a check in the mail whose size depends on how many extra yards they give Bama. But GOD DAMN the refs do some funny shite sometimes.

I thought the player was short, clearly short. Then we got the weird favorable spot, which I still thought wasn't enough, and THEN they signaled first down without measuring...and it was definitely within measuring range.

The funny thing was the announcers didn't say shite about it, when it was completely fricking obvious. Could the ESPN announcers sucked yalls cock any harder? I don't think they said more than two positive things about us due to the fact that they were choking on your cum so much.

and the "interception" by ole miss wasn't legit, either. Lesters foot looked out of bounds before the ball popped out. The announcers and the "rules expert" agreed.

Absolute worst case scenario for Bama was that there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the ruling on the field - but somehow it got overturned. lol

It was probably this guy that I saw pulling into the SEC offices in Birmingham.

I have to admit. I was shocked when we got that first down.

You don't want to go read or watch any analysis on ESPN. They make it sound like Bama steamrolled us. The typical. "Alabama trailed. FOR 15 SECONDS HAR HAR HAR HAR!"
Not one positive thing said about us in what I've read.
