I'm surprised no one has said something to the whistler. Does he not know how much of an arse he is?
Verne and Gary aren't nearly as bad because when you hear their voices you know you're about to watch a great matchup on CBS on Saturday Night. Not much beats that.

Whistler. and its not close... made me turn off a game I was thuroughlly enjoying. How the hell can anyone even do that for 3 hours straight??

I like Verne and Gary. They aren't the best. They get behind teams and are homers. But they fit the sec. Verne is like someone's fat uncle calling the game. Gary knows his stuff but you can tell his gets a little annoyed some times with a team if they play like shite. They are better out there to call a game but it's like you said. They have some great intros into the games.

Never heard the whistler but it's him, because Verne has the voice of a golden angel sent from God above and Gary is pretty good himself
