Won't be any of those guys.
It's Ole Miss.
They'll end up with an unheard of assistant, and they'll be lucky to get him.
And we still won't have any trouble beating A&M

Hahaha, A&M will beat you this year and every other year for the foreseeable future just like everyone else.

Doubtful. They suck really bad. We will be good enough to beat them this year.

We aren't hiring a new head coach until the season ends

Yeah, that's what OM should do, hire a controversial coach with a history of shady recruiting tactics and marital infidelity, right after getting hammered by the NCAA and having their head coach resign for moral turpitude related to prostitution.

No serious candidate will take that job until after the COI issues its report (see Dennis Franchione to AL for an example of what happens when you take the job before knowing the full extent of the sanctions).
Even then, no experienced coach without some personal connection to OM will take the job for any other reason except a big paycheck. And even if they have some connection to OM, it won't be someone OM would have ever considered giving the job to in any other circumstance.
They're going to be a doormat team for at least the next five years. Expect losses to Jacksonville State, North, South, East, West, and "at" U on a regular basis.

OM's next coach will be Hal Mumme. What better way to take advantage of the 45 receivers Freeze had on scholarship.

Blake Anderson would be a very good pick, and I think he'd take the job.

Morris wants to go home to his alma mater A&M and might get his shot after this year. Besides, if he doesn't another mid-range conference job is going to be available when Kingsbury gets canned at Texas Tech and it's in his home state where his recruiting contacts are.
It's going to be Anderson or Norvell.

I know! It must feel like your rival has 45 receivers when you've got none, right?

I'll make a donation to the Ole Miss athletic fund if they hire Dooley.
Do it. Please.

At this point miles would crawl over broken glass for the ole miss job. Poor guy couldn't even get the Houston job.
Are you... you know, special?
Les is being paid millions to spend time with his family. You think he wants to take over that mess for a small pay increase that will in all likelihood forever tarnish his legacy as one of the best coaches in his generation?
Les just has to pretend to be looking for work to continue collecting on that buyout.
