That high stadium is really coming along nicely.

Looks good, my only question is why did they go all metal for the NEZ instead of matching with concrete like the rest of the stadium?

It's obvious they're broke from paying off the 2013 recruiting class and the NCAA...

Serious question.
Was it not possible to do concrete seating?
Is OM pushing all visiting sections there or will they still put most in the corner on sideline?

I'm guessing it was easier to go with metal due to existing buildings within close proximity to the north end zone (Starnes Center and FedEx building)

There are issues with putting in concrete supports like the rest of the stadium because of the nearby buildings. The top of the addition sits above the starnes/fedex center so concrete supports would be going through the building so with steel and aluminum you can angle the support using less space

LED stadium lights? Those could be better or a little weird (if they are 'bluer'). Could be a lot brighter or reduced wattage to give the same brightness. Obviously LED will be the standard stadium lights of the future. I'm interested to see how they work out in person and on tv.
The natural grass looks really good.

Has it finally been grounded for conductivity?

I think the older stadium looks better from the pictures.
