Has anything happened to him or can I expect to hear him tonight? The bride bought us tickets to the game tonight, Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel tomorrow night, and the Grand Ole Opry for Saturday night.

I think that was actually a "superfan" who passed away, which at the time was being falsely reported as the whistler.
In other words, unless I'm mistaken, I believe he and the other, lesser-known whistler are still alive.
