A lot of confidence in Nashville this week. Could this be the year power in the SEC shifts east?

Trash talking ain't what it used to be.

It's football. Isn't trash talking part of it between the teams and the fan bases? I thought that was how it always worked

I don't think it's theory Jalen

And I'd expect a player to have confidence...

Shame on them for being excited. They must cower in fear of the mighty Tide.

I like that they are confident. And they should talk...while they can. Because in a little less than 3 weeks, they will be 3-3 overall and 0-3 in conference.

Not like Nifae said we would smash the Tide. He said we would show them we play real SEC ball. Guess Vandy not cowering fear is now "trash talk".

Take it from MSU, Vandy - don't get too excited. It never ends well.

there's a reason they are almost 20 point favorites.

Good luck though! Every Bama loss only helps us poor fellows in the West.

Good thing that the schedule softens up nicely after that.

They SHOULD be excited. They're undefeated and welcoming the #1 team in America to town while also being the CBS Game of the Week for only the third time this decade.

Yep. Even if a buttkicking ensues, it's fun when we get to be a part of the Big time.

Hurts still can't throw consistently.

Vandy's defense is gonna give Bama fits.

Eh...

Not so sure about that.

Vandy could easily beat us in Gainesville and UGA in Nashville.

I say at this point they upset one of UF/UGA.

Let the nerds have their fun.

Undefeated, big game, scouts will be watching or be there which is something Vandy doesn't get a lot.

Why shouldn't they be trash talking a little.

Ralph Webb hasn't rushed for more than 50 yards in all three games. Sadly, Alabama will suffocate Vanderbilt. They'll wear down the Vandy defense in the second half.

28-0.

I think that is great, and expect Vandy to give them a decent game.

At this point I'm not sold that Vandy beating UF would be considered an upset.
