Wow, we just got another Vandy fan!

And our stadium probably won't grow that much for a while. Consequence of having most of our grads move out of state.

Congrats on the big win, Vandy. Wow, I expected Vandy to have a chance to win the game, but I didn't expect a blowout. I really like your coach and the momentum he has brought to the team.

Vandy is maybe the one team in the SEC everyone likes to see do well (against other teams). So Anchor Down Dores

Never posted in a Vanderbilt victory thread before. Feels nice. Roomy. Stuff is all shiny and new. Congrats!

Naw. Nashville and middle Tennessee in general has a lot of non native residents, like myself, who would love to adopt a local SEC team. Life often gets in the way of making too many road trips to our home teams, but a quick trip down to the West End then a night out in the town? Sold. Vandy has a legit shot of drastically increasing their market share.

Supporting Vandy also serves as another way to twist the knife to all the UT fans we suffer on a daily basis.

I thought endowment money, or most of it was ear marked for education purposes...So what does that have to do with sports

Vandy has not beaten a single team that will go to a bowl game. Not even the crappiest of bowls.

True, although it would not surprise me at all if Ole Miss got in.

Conversely, Vandy losses have come to 3 teams currently ranked in the top 10, plus a bowl-bound Northwestern. What have your piggies done this year?

Damn...a Vandy sighting! No essays to write or projects to study for? It is seldom a Vandy enters this realm of football madness and Im glad to see the Dores have that attitude of toughness being instilled in them. Dropped that anchor right on Dooleys head.

IMO, this will be the only Vanderbilt victory over us this decade.

Move over State schools, make room for another competitor. Not only is our coach fierce, but our AD is just as fierce. That means 4 million + will be offered to Franklin to stay put. With a 4 billion dollar endowment and the second largest athletic endowment, don't think for a second that Vandy is a poor school that cannot match the bidding of other suitors.

It's not easy to outbid Auburn.
