Why would most people with a brain assume that? UT fans can live outside of Knoxville, and your statement was ambiguous as to whether you lived in Knoxville for 2 months or whether you dated a girl who's parents were from Knoxville and you had to deal with them for 2 months (i.e. you only dated for 2 months, or whatever). I don't have to try to win the argument because there's no argument to win. Your initial statement was structured in a way so that it was open to interpretation. I made a snide, albeit admittedly crappy remark in some hopes of humor. You took offense and here we are

Um. We beat Kentucky 10 years in a row. Next?

Kill'em! Vols fans are at an all time low. Losing is very familiar to them... give them another L!

<no disrespect to the Vols that frequent here>

12 out of the last 13 at the Brice. Only loss to then #1 FLA. Next #1 (tide) wasn't so lucky. Gamecocks, baby.

Impressive. You're only like the third team in the division to do that.

Like beat UT at home 27-6 when UT had a better team than they do now

You realize that is South Carolina's ONLY win EVER in Neyland Stadium.

ONLY 1 win in Neyland Stadium...

***edit***

That's actually one less than they have this season.

The game he was referring to was the last time the Vols came to Columbia. When SC was a worse team than they are today and the Vols were better. No reason to expect anything but a W for the Gamecocks.

I'm not going to lie, that was pretty well played.

That's debatable. Wouldn't be bragging about beating any UT team in the past 4 years, they have been down a lot to their standards.

USClite may be the better team on paper, but if you've been a shamecock fan over the past several years then you know you should never "expect a W" from them anytime in the 2nd half of the season.

And as a Vol you should know you're struggling to make 6-6 record and going up against a team that has been damn near unbeatable at home over the past couple of seasons.

I'll agree....you guys should definitely win this one.

Still wouldn't surprise me to see USCe to lay an egg though.

Who is "we"? A Vol fan already picked SC to cover that 17 point spread against UT this weekend?
