do you want LSU to just sit there and let your D tee off on them? frick that dude. you're coming off as an idiot

i'll put it another way. if your team was competing like they thought they could win, then nothing LSU did while they were in that mindset could be bad. if your players haven't given up, then nobody should expect LSU to

the concept of "running up the score" is retarded anyway. and i say this to LSU fans and anyone else

Lol no I don't expect lsu to just sit there and take it. I expected them to keep running for about 4-10 yards a pop like they had been.

Agreed...and neither team should until the clock reads 0:00. I GUARANTEE that we would've run the ball up the gut had you guys stayed in base defense. But when the defense blitzes 8-9, don't get mad when the offense throws the ball.

Consider this analogy...in basketball, if a team is down big but still runs a full-court press with a few minutes left, do you expect the other team to just have the point guard bring the ball up on his own, get trapped, and turn the ball over repeatedly?

"Les kneels with 5 minutes left against Ole Miss."
We were up 7 touchdowns against Ole Miss at the time. We were only up 3 yesterday. And with Arky's unstoppable passing attack, who's to say 3 scores is enough? /sarcasm

Makes sense. Maybe I'm being a lil bitchy.

So if Miles did that with Arkansas up big, you would take no issue with it?

Petrino has enough class not to run up the score, especially against a team that showed class against HIM the previous season.

The fact that so many of you see this as a knock on Petrino, and not the classless Miles, says all I need to know about Petrino.

Margin of victory my fricking arse. You same people were saying that LSU would still go to the MNC even if you lost. Now you need 3 extra points? Now you need to throw to the end zone when up huge in the 4th quarter with your starters still in.

Yeah. Okay. Classless.

I have to quote this...

Mainly for my wife because she says my analogies never make sense.

But kudos to you, sir, for that self-reflection. Hopefully your coach will do the same.
Good luck in your bowl game.

puh-LEASE LSU Rantards, respect the Uekman's and the late Garrett and let us bury our dead peacefully. Just drop it. You're about as bad as the Westboro folks that were threatening to picket his funeral.

2 COMPLETELY different scenarios...
Last year, you guys can kneel and take the W with only seconds remaining. If you run a play, there's a chance (albeit miniscule) that you could turn the ball over and we score to tie the game. In that case, it makes the most sense to kneel.
This year, with 6+ minutes left on the clock facing a very good offense, we could not simply kneel on the ball. So when your coaches decide to bring 8 or 9, we throw the ball.
Talk to HogBoxer if you need help with this...

I've never done this before (seriously, anyways), but this shite should get you the banhammer.
That young man and his family don't deserve to have idiots like you bring his name into this.

Get the frick out of here!

The fragility he's shown (yesterday being only one glaring example) leads me to believe his team would have fallen completely apart in 2005 and that 2006 would have been a "recovering" year at best, giving me no reason to believe he would have done any better than Miles.

You must not know Petrino's history considering he called time out with 5 seconds left in a game in order to score evn though it was a blowout.

Your fans are the ones bringing the kid's death into this. Show some class. You're the worst fans in the SEC, bar none.

i think that 2006 team would have been absolutely sick. the D talent + the O talent (under his offense) would have taken UF that year i believe

Tell us what kind of defense you were running up to that point. And there will be your answer.

Yeah, but you're still essentially assuming all we really need is him as an OC.
