The article puts us at 2 and you were struggling with that and the fact the article thinks Muschamp is the factor. Well he is and he doesn't have to make a miraculous impact to do it.
We have some talent in every position group. Depth could be an issue at DL. Muschamps intensity alone will help.

I can't really blame people for not trusting the Arkansas but you'd think the we would be 15ish. The Hogs should legitimately be a player for the SEC next year. The D was about as good as any by the season's end and the team returns 15+ starters.

Arkansas needs a QB before they can make the next step. I guess if you get Braxton Miller that would change things. Your offense would have to change identities for him to go to Arkansas IMO.

I think* this year might be a good year for UT. I would definitely have them in my way too early 25. Lsu too low. Auburn too high unless I'm missing something. Bama OM too high. Surprised Florida isn't in just for shits and giggles. Arkie gonna be a top 25 team.

I don't know about Ole Miss, but the last time Alabama didn't finish in the top 10 in the AP poll was 2007. We're a pretty safe bet to finish high every year.

Agreed and I'm not saying they are out of the top ten. I'd have ohio, TCU, in front and then have to start looking at who everyone is returning. Oklahoma could be in the mix. USC is always a favorite. Arizona or ASU return a good deal next year.
So yeah. Probably about right at 5 unless they can't find a QB.

Yeah - though with Barnett coming in I would hope between Coker, Cooper and Barnett we should have someone who can take the reins. A part of me almost hopes Barnett comes in and wows the place (we never seem to have someone come in and start that young) and just grab all the career records. But that likely will not happen, especially with Coker.
