The Woody Hayes punch (but detail more about Woody as a person since there were many instances that the public never knew about)

This was done in an HBO documentary albeit about Michigan. Woody Hayes was a complicated man. He was not just about football, I believe he was a legit tenured instructor at OSU. He was also quite a historian. Also despite the charade of animosity towards Michigan during the Schembechler years, the two were actually very good friends.

The recruitment of Albert Means-this would open up Pandora's box to the OTHER schools involved and the deal Fulmer cut with the NCAA.

The REAL Michael Orher story and other Memphis going ons

You might need 2 30 for 30's about this one because the Means affair was deeper than just Logan Young and it reverberates to this day .....if the whole truth got out Alabama should have gotten the NCAA's death penalty or its equivalent as well as Tennessee and possibly Arkansas.

Michael Oher.....no one believes that whole story, it was one Isidore Newman guy talking up another Newman guy....Lewis and Tuohy made lots of money off it, as did Oher.

The Jerry Sandusky deal

There was more to this than what came out. When this all happened, Sandusky had been gone from Paterno's program for close to a decade.

Life after John Wooden in Westwood-- the first few years

Whomever was the coach after Wooden was destined to fail..how do you match the legend? How did Ray Perkins do?

The Cam story with folks who know more than what they've told so far.

Of course Cecil Newton pimped out his son, and of course Cam knew about it.... and yes, money changed hands...and...nothing will EVER be done about it.

30:30 - the events at Miami that led to the failure to get Drew Brees QB.

This failure was epic in its ramifications. It led to Saban taking the job at Alabama, winning 4 NCs, and to the Saints winning a super bowl.

Saban with a good QB would probably have had success at Miami. It has been speculated.he was overruled on Brees which didn't sit well with his control OC.

That OSU-Michigan documentary HBO did several years ago is the GOAT sports documentary, and ESPN wishes its college football docs were half as good.

And I say that as someone who loathes both OSU and Michigan, but was fantastic.
