That's the problem I have with all of this.
5th/6th best team in west beats 2nd or 3rd best team in B1G.
4th/5th best team in the west beats 2nd or 3rd best team in Big12.
Expected annual rivalry week ACC slaughter.

Yet those conferences are supposed to be guaranteed a spot over the 2nd best team in the whole SEC? Because the first division in the history of college football with every team bowl eligible cannibalized itself in a manner fit to "drop" teams from bullshite rankings? Reality is -- there are SEVEN top 30 teams in the SECWest this year and none of these frickers have played even a REMOTELY similar overall SOS as MSU has...
