If Matthews is dismissed vs transferring, does he still have to sit out 1-2 years depending on where he goes or is he immediately eligible?

I still think you have to sit a year. Not 100% sure though.

If he transfers,

1 year to non SEC team

2 years to SEC team unless he walks on and pays his way

If he is processed (it appears he was)

1 year to any Div 1 team

Update:He was Dismissed:Tray Matthews to Auburn or Louisville
He is already a part of Auburn history

Yea, he's already made one winning defensive play for Auburn so I can see the Manchurian Candidate going home.

I really cannot understand how these players are such shitheads under Richt's direction and then turn it around where they have a different HC
It truly is amazing.

This. Louisville seems to be the obvious destination. Or he goes JUCO like Kamara is doing and is free to go wherever afterward.

The QB and both defenders from Auburn's Hail Mary vs. Georgia last year have all been dismissed from Georgia.

If one rationally thinks it through, it really makes perfect sense.

Auburn likely will not even let him on the team if he doesn't walk on... See Corey Grant and Austin Golson.

Louisville's starting safeties in its 2015 opener vs. Auburn could very well be the two who gave up the "Miracle on the Plains"

Now this would be some funny shite...

Gotta feeling it'll be Louisville.

frick Bobby Petrino. He kicked starting tackles off the team for legal fake weed at Arkansas, wouldn't recruit thuggish personalities, rode a high horse all the way into the ditch, and now he's scooping up talent regardless of circumstance.

Fuuuuuuuuck that guy. I have a feeling when he comes here to recruit he's going to have to do it incognito and slip out in the cover of night.
