You probably could have picked a better post to jump on. In 1999, the year before Saban arrived, LSU was literally at the very bottom of the SEC-W standings. We had a better record than LSU that year, and that was when the East was up.

Yeah, they are. They are the 2nd best program in SEC history, although the last 15 years has seen that gap narrow down pretty good. LSU/UGA/AU/UF are all right there jumbled up together in that next tier. YOu could essentially pick any order and have a valid case.
