Twenty years ago, after a couple of people got domed by goal posts after big wins , there was a " football field safety" movement. You could not back out of your driveway without some Safety Nanny stopping your car, and lecturing you on the necessity of leaving the stadium in an orderly fashion.

Even beating #5 Florida in 2005, Bama's biggest win in years, there was no field rush. Ending AU streak in 08? no field rush
