That's literally Muschamp's game plan: stop the run, and force the quarterback to make lots of short passes to get down the field

Didn't stop the run too well last night. Played great against the run in the State game. Played OK against SJSU.

Last night looked like a team win for AU to me. Each unit made plays to help win. Your K is really good (wish Bama had him). Your line played better than they have as of late and your passing game looked much better. White protects the ball for you and that should help the D quite a bit.

For whatever reason Gus still tries to get cute with his play calling once or twice a game and that needs to stop. That play-action dive/fake end around/pass deep has been called in 3rd and 6-9 range in multiple games (State and KY for sure) and has been sacked at least twice. AU doesn't have to run those plays, and certainly not in that down-distance scenario. Barber continues to be a beast. I'd feed him like AU fed Tre Mason in 2013 2nd half of season.
