I think Miss. State has better recruiting in their state. I would liken our situation is closer to Oklahoma state and their ability to pull talent out of Texas. Also maybe Oregon with california.

Tennessee hasn't beat florida in 8 years so your in about the same boat as us. Vandy has done better against florida recently than you guys.

Butch Jones improves his records by two games a year and lots of people on here still don't think he's making UT any better. I highly, HIGHLY doubt you'll persuade the same people to think Stoops is making progress when his record didn't improve last year and he still has yet to make a bowl.

Brooks had a great foundation and Joker completely destroyed it. Stoops has turned it around a lot faster than Brooks did. I really want Stoops to be the guy to succeed; listening to his interviews just gets me fired up for kickoff. Southern Miss is the opener and the Mustard Buzzards can't get here fast enough.

The main thing in looking for in the spring game is going to be the defense. We have a lot of new faces in the front 7. I think love is the closest solid linebacker since Avery Johnson. In excited about denaro but in more concerned about the dline. I think the secondary will be our anchor this year. That is if we stay healthy.

I would have liked to see boom, baker, and bone. I think that's the majority of your offense this year with the exception of barker and Conrad.
Matt Elam has been a project since day 1. I hope he makes an impact this year because it's a real possibility that if we get kevin williams to transfer from Nebraska then he could take a lot of snaps from Elam.

Elam either breaks through this hear IMO or he is what he is and he's gone in two seasons anyway. He puts in the work this summer and he could be All-SEC if he pushed himself. Courtney Miggins is said to have made huge strides this offseask.

Stoops is indeed building up the roster and UK would probably make a decent showing in the weakest division of the Big 10. The problem is UK still has a huge talent gap when compared to teams like UF, UGA, and UT. Even USC's roster has more talent.
UK needs to focus on beating Mizzou, Vanderbilt, USCe, and/or Louisville. Win three out of those four and take care of the cream puffs on your schedule and that will get the Cats bowl eligible which would go a long way towards starting to recruit a decent SEC roster.

UKs talent is filled with all-americans. We have a team loaded with 4 and 5 stars. We also have more talent than mizzou, USCe, vandy. We have talent comparable to florida and georgia just not the depth on the dline.
