Stanford beats suckwad UCLA team twice and it causes LSU to get jumped and Northern Illinois to get into the BCS.

One reason is because the Sugar Bowl usually has to cede the #1 or #2 nationally ranked SEC team to the BCS CG which is, in turn, replaced by much lower ranked at-large team vs an SEC team which usally still highly ranked but never #1 or #2.

Because the rest of the conferences don't want the SEC to get five teams in, along with all the cash that goes with it.

It might would work if the damn Big East didn't get an automatic bid. That's what's giving us these suck-arse games. Same could be said of the ACC in recent years, though it hasn't always been the case. When Miami, VA Tech, WVU, and BC left the Big East, they became the new Conference-USA, only worse and with an automatic BCS bid.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Notre Dame is part of the problem this year, right? Since they're an independent, they've screwed somebody who would have had the at-large, highly-ranked but second in their conference slot, right? (That's not an anti-ND rant, just a question).

This is probably the worst BCS bowl lineup ever.

NIU, Louisville, and Wisconsin have no business playing in these games.
