Kirby is Miles w/o a natty. Great recruiter, good coach.

'But but but he played Bama to the wire...twice'

He coached under Saban for almost a decade. With a great roster don't you think perhaps that's why he played Bama so close?? I'm sorry to break the news to you but Smart is not the answer to end the near 40 year natty drought.

Dude, Miles without a natty is Richt.

I believe UGA fans have a good grasp of the situation.

Your "old life?"

You might want to get to the SECCG once since 2011 before you make that statement.

Really? Something was preventing us from doing that. Hmmm, I wonder what that was....

Could it be the same thing that prevented UGA from winning a natty?

If UgA was in the west, they would never sniff the SEC Championship.

It's as if he doesn't realize that they've also lost to Alabama every time they've played since then.

I like the way that LSU fans just blithely assume that they are now the lead dog in the pack and that the NC is as good as won. They normally get mighty uppity this time of year, but this season is worse than usual. It’s going to be golden on here when they get handled easily by Bama, as is their wont.

Right, so your old life is also your new life. We cannot beat Bama, neither can you. OP should have said "Welcome to our present hell"

You are correct, we shouldn’t pop off since we haven’t challenged for that, like you said, since 2011.

And you shouldn’t pop off when you got an arse whoopin last year by the team you are ragging on.

Well, some of us do...others, not so much.

The only bright spot from last Saturday is some of our more annoying fans will probably disappear.

Dude.

Don't. Just Don't.

It's week friggin 8 coming up. It's too early. We have not beaten Bama since 2011. We have NO room to talk. Are you STILL drinking the leftover booze from Saturday that you couldn't handle? You embarrass LSU with this stupid shite.

Enjoy this season. Don't act like we own ANYTHING until it's all over. It's a great way to avoid eating crow.

Also, yes. That was the WORST I've seen UGA perform since the Sugar Bowl. I didn't put much stock in the Sugar Bowl performance then, and I don't put a lot of stock in their lack of showing up against Carolina this past week. Was/is UGA better than Texas then and now? Yes. They fricked up. Is UGA better than Carolina now? Hell YES. They fricked up. They are a friggin awesome team that has been wounded. They will be very dangerous and their season is NOT over. Just like Florida...........

Our season isn't over yet either. Anything can happen.

Our offense simply can’t be stopped this year. By Bama or anyone else

These two were too close in time not to put some stock in them. We have issues. But issues can be corrected.

Well, I'm sure none of you need to be reminded of Richt's tenure at UGA, and CERTAINLY don't need to be welcomed back there by an LSU fan.

Seems like we heard this for a couple of years when Fournette was running for about 250 on everybody. Until ....
