Georgia has a new QB and coach, UNC and Chizik will be sticking the boot up Georgia's backside.

Georgia brah. True freshman starting week 1 in a neutral site could keep it interesting for a while though

If Kirby starts Eason, UGA blows out UNC.

Lambert will hold that team back if he starts.

UGA. I don't think it will be close either.

New coach with no immediate hot seat pressure. Eason should start right away.

Other dawg fan is reasonable. UNC's new QB is a junior who already has 1000 yards and 11 TDs

Your guy may be a 5* but even 5*s are almost guaranteed to struggle as true freshmen playing QB. And going from small HS in Washington state to the highest level of CFB in front of 90,000 people and on national television isn't an easy jump. Gotta do a number on your nerves.

UNC's guy wasn't a slouch recruit either. 4* guy and top 10 QB who was Mr. Football in Ohio, a state that's actually good at HS football.

Play UNC early is best....they will run the GA defense into exhaustion with their quick pace.

EDIT: Had the wrong game originally... 5dimes has UGA as a 4.5 pt. favorite. I'd expect that grow as the game gets closer but not by much.

If Chaney could just get past that flaw he would have been alroght. Do you know how many deep fly routes that had almost zero chance of getting caught I watched Chaney call on 3rd and 1?

Carolina beat North Carolina last year. That says it all.

I gotta say I don't like this matchup for UGA.

UNC has a veteran team and should have a really strong run game. I haven't been very impressed with UGA's front seven in a few years especially how they hold up to top running games. I think Elijah Hood could have a big day.

I think UGA will be able to run but I gottta say the improvement Chizik provided to UNC on defense was drastic. They still got a ways to go (especially against the run) but they were miles better than the historically bad defense of 2014.

Man per man Georgia probably has better overall talent but UNC has the more experienced, proven roster.

I say its close for 3 quarters but UNC eventually controls the game with their offense in the 4th and wins by 8-10 or so.

UNC 34
UGA 26

Bad things happen when your top DLs are freshmen

I actually think your DL will be better but now I think your LB's are a big question mark so I think it ends up being a wash.
