So McGarity and Foley are both going out-of-state in 2017.

Funny, because I thought the Bama fans down in Florida weren't social (except for three we ran into on South Beach the day before the game who were really cool. Some fun, lighthearted banter back and forth there).

I hope that goes about as well for you as your Brandon Burrows predictions.

What were his Burrows predictions?

Gotta give props to UGA for their non-conference scheduling, they do a good job stepping it up.
LSU does as well.
Alabama has turned it up under Saban as well but the big name teams we schedule have the bad habit of sucking by time we play them.

Dammit ... we've been trying to schedule a home and home with them since the Holtz years.
They wanted to play a high profile SEC team, not a little sister.

I love seeing matchups like this. Great for all college football fans.
I have been to South Bend for games against Michigan, Michigan St, Stanford, So Cal, and Tennessee. I went with fellow Titleist reps that were mostly ND fans. I had to secretly be pulling for the opponents and only Tenn came away with a win.

There were no hot women but it was one of the most enjoyable tailgates I've enjoyed with an opposing fan base. Every ND fan we ran into were friendly.
Which pissed me off because I HATE Notre Dame.

Numerous posts about how he was going to be a stud a few years back. Had me real excited and I've always held it against him.

ND drops '17 and '19 games with Texas for UGA.

We're not playing Texas in 2017 - my guess is that McMurphy's tweet referencing Swarbrick's comments are in regards to the 2019 game. I'd like to see it moved to 2018 or 2021.
If that happened, 2018 would be Texas, USC, Clemson, Stanford, UVA, Georgia Tech, Pitt, Navy, and some others. That would be a very good but manageable 2018 and make 2019 less of a death march.

They haven't been dropped. They are just in danger of being dropped. They might drop some other series they have lined up. Unless I missed something

With all the ACC games, i wonder why ND wants to play UGA. Maybe ND is afraid to play LSU in New Orleans.
