If it's not the system why does it keep happening? There is no control in Athens - I imagine that the recruiters there are kinda like Troopa and promising the highschool kids the world with no work or discipline required. I miss his jimmie rustling but I'm glad he's out - we'd still be like UGA with no control.

Sorry, that didn't occur while he was at Auburn.

You're right. Just missed him by a few months.

Probably pretty tough to get arrested drinking in your trailer park in Auburn. Yes, downtown Athens is out of control.

Don't worry... While Tray Matthews is turning his life and football career around in Auburn, Georgia will still have the same problems with different/new kids.

It's the way of life in Athens, Georgia. No control of football players.

Deflection - weak attempt. Sorry your football program is spiraling out of control. You know who the problem is yet nobody does anything.

Wow. Imagine how many A&M would have if it was illegal to smoke pot on campus...

doubtful. If anything, I think he gets stuck playing ST for the duration of his career and never learns from his mistakes. Assuming, of course, Gus is the bastion of integrity you make him out to be.

At the rate Pruitt is chasing off kids that don't take it seriously here, I doubt it. If anything, the past few months show just how little Grantham gave a shite away from the field.

Have you ever been around a college football program beyond Saturday? What do you imagine "control" to look like?

Mr. Bailey would be a great addition to Richt's staff.

Kind of like Nick Marshall, right?

Wait, Tray Matthews will only further his starting SEC career because Gus Malzahn is a piece of shite? Is that what you're saying here? BTW, I have only stated that Gus Malzahn knows how to control his players.

Prayers sent.

Why is he chasing off so many kids? He's going to jump at the first head coaching opportunity that arises for him.

Oh, I don't know... Not getting arrested and in trouble with the law?

Can anyone link to where Mathews and his parents talked badly about Uga?

I don't think any of them actually trashed Georgia. Some things were insinuated. With him being a parent, and knowing him and his parents...maybe he heard them say some things?

Anyway, I'm not sure what it matters. the kid is moving on and so should we. Let him go and hope he does well.
