that a player's dad thinks his opinion is relevant; better yet that UGA fans are using it as proof that all these arrests which don't happen at other schools have nothing to do with the leadership of the team

Agree but there is an alarming number of issues in Athens. There is no disputing that.

About 5% of young males on the team get in trouble during any given year in the country's best college town.

It's so alarming

Yea, they have a large number of arrests every year...it's not just with this bunch.

Must be the player management going on with the football program.

I don't think you're better than this either, but I was giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Beav, you're not this naive. It is quite literally as relevant an opinion as you can get outside of the players and coaches themselves. It's a hell of a lot more relevant than anyone that posts on here, anyway.

Where the frick did you draw that insinuation from? Wiggins wasn't arrested, JHC wasn't arrested. Tray was arrested but given an opportunity to not be an a-hole and he failed. So he was dismissed. The whole point of the quote is that these kids (UGA, Auburn, Louisville, A&M, wherever) lack any sense of accountability or responsibility and, somehow, it is the schools that get lambasted for it instead of individuals.

silverdawg's melt has been about as sweet at I was expecting Cobb Dawg's to be

Only reason I want him on the team is for the ensuing lulz. Not the biggest fan of taking a kid who was just kicked off another team, but I also trust Gus to not sissyfoot around with him.

It's fine. I know he'll probably come back with "YOU MAD" or " ". I can't help their lack of reason and total reliance on deflection to get through their fandom.

Sorry, that didn't occur while he was at Auburn.

Try again.

I already explained that to him in another thread but I admire his effort

Also, we all know if Auburn accepts the Fulmer Cup points UGA will just have another arrest to make up for it so what difference will it really make?
