Question for UGA fans. Who's the likely WR1 and how confident are you in them?

Lovett or Bell. Very confident in both.

Look for transfers Colby Young and Landon Humphries to also add some weapons.

Add in Rara Thomas, Anthony Evans, Arian Smith, and freshman Nitro Tuggle.

I’m pretty excited about his group of WRs and think it’s considerably better than last year.

OP is a broken record. Same type posts, every year, almost always wrong, always a new screen name.

Bowers and McConkey were excellent players for UGA.

But UGA spreads the ball around on offense. Together those two accounted for 1192 yards receiving. UGA had 4274 passing yards last year. That's not a huge percentage for 2 guys (28%).

For comparison Jermain Burton for Alabama alone accounted for 26% of Bama's passing offense. Nabers accounted for 35% of LSU's passing offense by himself.

This thread shows which fans here actually watch the games. The Tennessee d line is stout and aggressive.

Don't let Smokey see this post.

He's been arguing the opposite for 3 years. Because he knows football and football talent.

Those fans have watched them beat the piss out of UT for the past 7 years. It will be more of the same this year.

Vols have talent and depth on both sides finally.

I see this from vol fans every offseason.

You guys don't get tired of "this is the year, finally" do you?

UGA spreads the ball around a lot on offense.

UGA's leading "receiver" last year was a TE. Brock Bowers had 714 yards. Their top WR was in fact Dominic Lovett at 613 yards. He's returning. The next two were Rosemy-Jacksaint (535) and McConkey (478) both who are gone. Then came RaRa Thomas (383) and Dillon Bell (355) who are returning. After than came TE Oscar Delp (284) who will be the starter at TE this year.

To alleviate some of the losses, UGA hit the transfer portal for pass catchers.

TE Ben Yurosek from Stanford (239 yards last year, high of 653)
WR Colbie Young from Miami (563 yards last year)
WR Michael Jackson III from SoCal (146 yards last year, high of 236)
WR London Humphries from Vandy (439 yards last year)

So Lovett is the likely pick to remain WR1. But the ball will continue to be spread around amongst the above guys plus potentially a few others.

I watched a shitty Florida team run for 200 yards on you and saw Mizzou gas you for 250.

I also saw Georgia’s QB’s uniform after their game against y’all and it was spotless bc yall had no pass rush the entire game.

There still appears to be a contingent of fans who still are in denial about the talent level on UGA’s team. It’s like they see the results and recruiting classes since 2017 and just internalize none of it.

And yet Georgia has stomped that arse every year just the same. Ain't nuthin' changed, and nuthin' will change.

They’ve been stacking five stars like cordwood over there. I’ll believe it when I see it.
