Florida is hot garbage and almost came back to beat UGA.

App St. was hanging with them for the 1st half.

Tennessee almost beat them.

Could be a tough game but let's not act like they are the '85 Bears.

I think it will be.

But your point is spot on, neither team is an unbeatable jugernaut.

Lost to CU and Mizzou

I wouldn't describe either of those as crapping the bed. He led us to 35 points on the road at Clemson and threw for 320 yards. One pick isn't "shitting the bed" when you're throwing that much. He threw a couple picks against Mizzou trying to lead late game drives with walkon receivers.

He also played great against LSU, which was a big game at the time.

dammit

I will say his success last year will not be any indication of this year since we run a different D and use different players.

I get that. I was just pointing out that Murray's big game struggles haven't been there this year. We've lost games, but not because of him. He's been a warrior.

They still have WR issues as well.

You will get to see who Johnathan Rumph is on Saturday. Having Conley back would be great, but not a huge deal IMO.

Why Georgia will lose:

a) Can't get opposing offenses off the field on third down,

b) Can't get turnovers, but we do give them up.

c) Can't defend the pass,

d) Outside of our kicker, our special teams are a liability,

e) We refuse to put teams away. In fact, we will do everything in our power to keep the other team in the game.

f) Our offense has been hamstrung by multiple injuries to key players.

How Georgia could win:

a) Score lots. And lots.

b) No turnovers.

If we win, me thinks it will be a shootout.

This. A group of Bennett, Rumph, Wooten, Davis, and McGowan should be good enough for Murray to give AU some problems.

Eta- having Conley back would be a big deal though.

Yeah, brah. Everyone is scared about him after his dominating 4 catches against App State.

So missing your leading receiver (tied with the most TD catches) is no big deal? Seriously?

To be fair, that's largely because he lasted the longest before getting injured.

Still would love to get him back for AU though

A running back who can run between the tackles and with the speed to break the big run. A QB capable of picking the defense apart and burning man to man coverage. A defense that should be able to somewhat contain AU's rushing attack.

How about your thoughts on the AU/UGA game, coach?
-------------------------------------------------

I thought you'd never ask.
First, I believe the over 62 1/2 will be good. Y'all are gonna have to be able to throw the ball to have a shot and I'm guessing that you can against their secondary. Your DBs have played well this year and they'll have to have one of their better games. Bottomline, there are bettor bets on the board (Vandy and Clemson being a couple), but I think y'all will win the game, although that 1/2 point hook could kill the Auburn bets.
PS- I personally will be pulling for Auburn because I'd like to see the IB mean something again.
2nd PS- You can bet you arse that the Alabama coaches will be going to school on this game (refer back to my original post).
