And as a top 10 NFL draft pick.

Besides, what has UGA done since he's been in school? Won the Sugar Bowl?

Its as proven as what you posted. Came straight from Marlon Brown's own mouth.

UGA will be fine and we'll be fine, I was just curious

Not so much. You've got a frat boy, a broken old man, and a foul mouthed failure running shite in Knoxville. There is a reason Rodney Garner turned down a RAISE and a PROMOTION to stay at UGA when Kiffin tried to buy him this Spring.

I think UGA's recruiting results speak for itself. I don't think a lack of effort could categorize Mark Richt...and I'm not even a leghumper fan.

That's true. But like I stated "IF what he said is true", even only his eyes, you have to be discouraged with the effort regarding this particular player. Maybe he got the wrong vibe, who knows?

He was gonna be that anyway.

I believe Berry said that. I believe Mark Richt probably wrote his name and stats down. I do not think that indicates Richt didn't know who he was (that's your words, not Berrys).

And here is some more from Berry..

quote:

"But all the talk was about Caleb King (now a redshirt sophomore at Georgia battling for a starting job). I guess that's why I always favored Tennessee. They always recruited me hard and let me know what I meant to them. That hurt my feelings, I'm not even going to lie. But I love Mark Richt, love his staff. Him and coach (Rodney) Garner, because they're the ones that recruited me. They're both good men. I was just like, 'Dang.' I just felt like you need to be in your backyard. I just felt like (they) needed to know a little something about me. A few more phone calls or something."

Aww..we didn't pay him enough attention..

Wow, I would figure the 2007 arse whooping we put on you guys would stick in your memory. Also, what relevant things has UGA done since Berry has been in college? Have arguably the best and #1 team preseason last year only to not live up to expectations and play Michigan State in a bowl? At least we have BEEN to an SEC championship in his time at UT, which he wouldn't have had the opportunity to do at UGA...

Mark Richt can get talent into UGA, he just cant win the big games with that talent. And there is the truth, UGA will always be .501 with Richt, win the occassional SEC title when the rest of the league is down, but never win the big ones. Isnt that why Donnan got fired?

So you're saying UGA/Richt is slightly above .500? Last time I checked, he's 82-22 overall (about a .800 winning %).

Winning an SEC title when the league is down. As if LSU didn't back into an NC in 2007. National Champs should not lose to R-Kansas and Kentucky.

Stings ont it? Stings like getting hit by a jacket. Stings like getting hit by a yellowjacket. Ahhh, UGA, always hope, always potential, never delivers.

Yeah, a 3 point loss to your in-state rival stings. But when you beat them for 7 years straight, it's not so bad. How bad does it sting getting 50+ hung on you in your own house twice in the same season?

"Good thing there are records out there about what you say.
UGA was recruiting him both ways- giving him the Champ Bailey pitch. we mainly wanted his as a DB, but wanted him to get a few touches on O as well.

"It is all still the same really," Berry said. "I am going to visit Georgia, Southern Cal, Tennessee, and Ohio State. Those four and Auburn are my top five."

"I haven't set up dates with any of them yet, so I am not sure when the visits will take place."

Those schools are still really after Berry.

"All of them are recruiting me hard still," he said. "I get the calls once a week from all those schools and everything is the same right now."

Everything, but one thing is the same. Berry says one school is coming at him a little differently.

"Georgia has really made it clear to me that they need me as a play-maker since they lost a few games," said a laughing Berry. "They have told me that they want me to play both ways and they need me as a play-maker."

In an earlier article, Berry spends 45 minutes with our DB coach and complains that he didn't meet any O coaches. so you think this is some revisionist history?

"I met up with Coach Garner first and after I talked to him, he took me to Coach Richt. I talked to Coach Richt for a minute and he let me know how he wanted me there. He just shared his feeling about me coming there really."

"After Coach Richt, I went and spent some time with Coach Martinez. I talked to him for about 45-minutes. He talked to my mom for a while too. Coach Martinez went over all the guys he has coached that went into the NFL. He just made his pitch really."

Berry has been told he will play both ways at Georgia, but he is not so sure of that right now.

"They tell me I can play defensive back and wide receiver or whatever, but they didn't let me talk to any offensive coaches. I am not sure if they are just telling me that or what," Berry said.

********************************
Yeah the same berry who said that he wishes he had picked uga over tennessee and that uga was on him too hard to commit to them.

So berry is lying now or berry was lying then. Georgia was all over berry from the beginning. I guess kiffin can't get people to believe uga has fallen asleep in Georgia, so he is now asking his players to lie about the recruiting process."

Since Richt showed up in Athens newer coaches who have arrived & achieved what Richt will never... Saban, Meyer, Miles, Meyer again. But there is always those 10 win seasons with nothing to show for it to hang ur hats on.

Well we played in (and won) a BCS Bowl..something you haven't done in over 10 years...

What relevant thing has UT done since Berry hit puberty?

We've delivered an asswhooping to LSU the last 3 times we faced your team...including one in the SEC Championship Game (that's a pretty big game).

Luck is a fabulous thing, but if you continue to strive for and regularly attain excellence, you will eventually create your own luck. And then you guys will have to come up with a different reason why Richt isn't a top coach.

Yeah. I'm sure Berry is just beating himself up b/c he didn't win in Baton Rouge with UGA.

In the grand scheme of things, that game didn't matter one way or another. We sucked last year, and it didn't propel UGA to anything worth talking about.

I was talking about was has UGA done since Berry's been at UT that would make him regret his decision. Nothing. But I'm sure you knew what I meant, you just had to flame. I understand. You have to hang your hat on something I guess. Since UGA doesn't win too many championships, I guess beating SEC opponents will have to suffice.
