RS should be ready to go

also we run the hurry up so it's hard to go by that but i still think Georgia is a more balanced offense, if not by ability then because of philosophy. LSU is more comfortable running and georgia cannot get complacent because either our pass or run game can be shut down if we become too reliant

i have heard him and tyson are maybes but that RS is a much more likely possibility. that would be awesome. how about our pussy shite freshman?
Posted on 11/28/11 at 1:30 pm to Damn Good Dawg
well yeah, our philosophy is run until they stop it. since most teams can't stop it, we just keep running

this is going to be a fricking blood bath. Without turnovers, I don't know how Georgia will break 10

Thomas' pass blocking has improved leaps and bounds this year, but his size is definitely a concern. We have run some two back sets out of shotgun, so I was thinking more along the lines of leaving the FB, either Figgins or Zander, back in protection.

I think about 6 of our rushing first downs came on the 11 straight run plays against Auburn in the 4th, so the same can be said for ours

they have been doing a lot of that as of late but mostly with boykin and smith or carlton and figgins. idk, figgins has issues pass blocking from a HB/FB position IMO and zander is also small. i think RS and Aron White are our best options.
i am curious as whether bobo will chose to spread LSU out or go for max protect

you won't be able to run it (no one can) and we are going to spend more time in the backfield than Murray will. Not enough good WRs to make us back out of 8 in the box. Don't see how you guys will score much. No flame intended just what I see happening.

we may be limited but i'll wait and see but i won't say that isn't a possibility

again we will see. possible but i don't think our OL gets obliterated THAT badly. but they have fricked up before

fair enough but i respectfully disagree
the run game will be huge and i hope like hell we can set it up but georgia as of late has been just as comfortable passing first and complimenting with the run. we have had to because of injuries and suspensions and luckily murray has hit a groove. and you don't give our WR nearly enough credit. Michael Bennett, Chris Conely, and Malcom Mitchell are all formidable and TK and Marlon Brown are no slouches

What other wideouts do you have?

They may be pretty good but they aren't running free on Claiborne, Reid, Taylor, Simon, and Mathieu. Our DBs are incredible in coverage (you know that) and without enough time to throw I don't think Murray will be able to hit on any 20+ yd plays. And without that, UGA will need to run 14-17 plays to hit pay dirt. That's a lot to ask an offense to do against LSU without making mistakes/turning it over.

Mitchell is the only one with the ability to create the separation needed for me to feel comfortable when I see Murray throw the ball. Conley and Bennett are talented receivers, but rely on body positioning to pull in a lot of contested balls. The fact that those passes will be contested by guys like Claiborne, Reid and Mathieu (among the rest of your secondary) this week makes me very, very nervous.

How tall are the cover corners for LSU?

what's the deal with Crowell? I've heard people questioning his availability.

our most utilized are jr Marlon Brown, jr Tavarres King, rfr Michael Bennett, fr Malcom Mitchell, and fr Chris Conley
MB is 6'5 and just good for size. MM is a speedster and will beat anyone deep and has reliable hands and great moves. CC is a great route runner with pretty damn good hands. MB drops essentially no passes and is by far our best WR IMHO. TK is versatile and can beat up deep or get the short yardage but is prone to drops and being a dip shite
the rest are irrelevant

i agree, it will be a helluva battle. this game says a lot about who we will be in 2012. sadly GT and AU provide a shitty sample because of how bad their defenses are but if you can take anything from that at all our WRs ran free and they could not be covered. all year our WRs haven't had issues in any of their games. the main issue? murray can't hit them deep. luckily he has improved on the deep ball.
again i know how good LSU's defense is and that is why i know our defense is what matters. all i expect our offense to do is take their chances when they can but ultimately to be smart with the football. i just think we can crank out more than 10 and that isn't at all an indictment of LSU's defense but more i think our team is capable

he's been pussing about lately but the word is so far that he is probable following an ankle injury vs UK on his 2nd carry

We don't throw deep a whole lot. Not really part of our gameplan. We tend to stick to the mid to short range passing game staying underneath the safeties. Every now and then when we feel we have a good matchup we'll send Mitchell or or TK deep but it's usually not the first look for Murray.

No flame intended here, but I'm just curious what happened with Kentucky...shitty game? or just played flat much like LSU did against WKU in the first half
I didn't watch the game, just saw the score and am curious
