We are signing the 4th best back in the nation this year. We signed the 6th best back in the nation last year.

That's holding up two scholarships which could produce two players who compete 6-8 years (combined) based on the new systems needs.

Do you want to trade one more year limiting 2 scholarships instead of getting 2 4/5* studds who will contribute 6-8'years?

Is this a serious question? Once you learn to spell their names, Google them both and read how they are both preseason Heisman candidates for 2017. Then consider the other TBs that we have on the roster, and the addition of D'Andre Swift this year, and you have a solid and definitive "yes" to your inane question. It's like asking if Clemson would be happy with Deshaun Watson returning when they have Trevor Lawrence coming in

It has also not been addressed in this ridiculous thread but both of these guys are excellent role models and leaders in the locker-room of an otherwise fairly young team. So yeah, Chubb and Michel.

You make a valid point. There are often negatives associated with even overwhelmingly positive consequences. We should be able to pick up some quality RB's in this next class. UGA has never really had a problem recruiting top running backs. Our problem has been recruiting stud OL.

Well DW would have used all eligibility by the time TL enters Next January. But your point is taken, you don't give up a guaranteed 1800 combined yds for a maybe

If they think they can win now then it's better to have Chubb and the other back but if not it's best for them to have the 2 recruits

Wait....your asking if we would trade two 1200 yard rushers for two guys who are supposed to produce 1200 yards because our current HC didnt recruit them?

I think you've forgotten that recruits haven't produced anything. These are quite possibly the reason we won 8 games instead of 5.

We've got room for every 5 star and 4 star on our recruiting board. The only two scholly spots that Chubb/Michel "waste" would have gone to 3 star backfill at the bottom of the class. Or the walk-on kicker whose dad is real pissed off.
