That's holding up two scholarships which could produce two players who compete 6-8 years (combined) based on the new systems needs.

Do you want to trade one more year limiting 2 scholarships instead of getting 2 4/5* studds who will contribute 6-8'years?

It's Chubb and Michel.

And some 5 star may or may not pan out. I'd rather have two 5* caliber players that are proven and known commodities. Why wouldn't we?

Bc you have a new system and are hamstringing this years recruiting class by not getting in new Kirby system players who will learn the Kirby way and you will get 6-8 years out of those 2 players.

And regardless of choaching staffs, UGA is never at a lack of new replacement RBs.

Chubb is one of the 3 best running backs we've ever had.

But nah, get the hell out! We'd rather bring in someone that may not even crack the 2 deep!.

Don't be stupid.

I agree to an extent however you cannot downplay bringing in 4/5*!recruits under the new HC and his process is by far better than holding on to two scholarships for one more year to neglect 6/8!years of 4/5* recruits the new HC feels fits his system.

Nothing indicates he will bring in 2 players who won't crack the 2 deep.

Chubb and Michel or Toneil Carter? Obvious answer is the 2 proven guys.

And nothing indicates any RB on our roster or a recruit we don't have committed would have a bigger impact than chubb or Michel.

I agree, and this is why I'm not concerned about losing Carter to keep Chubb and Michel. We re-stock our RB cupboard as well as anybody in the country.

I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill. We need to start winning now and Chubb and Michel give us a better chance to start doing that next year.

Those two returning gives us a better chance to win games next year, and with the wins comes momentum for the program.

So, no, I wouldn't trade our two best players for 2 extra scholarships.

Chubb is a low 4 star while Michel is a clear 5 star. Hard to see Chubb doing much in the nfl
