They actually talked about it several times throughout the game, including just a few plays before the big one.

They'd already discussed Butler at least 2-3 times before the big play. I'm from west Alabama and thought it was interesting they had an undrafted free agent from a tiny little school like Livingston playing in the SB ~ and then to go on a win the game for his team is great.

The one where they were inside the 6 yard line, with time outs and Marshawn Lynch running well....but they decided to pass the ball?
NE did load the box with DLs and had only 3 DBs in the game, but a play action rollout w/Wilson having the option of throwing to a FB or TE in the flat, running it in or simply throwing it away would have been the safest alternative.

This was my first thought as well.

Back to the OP. Yes, there is some parallel here, because both the Seahawks and UGA would’ve won if they had handed the ball off. I can guarantee you this stings a lot more for Seattle fans. This is also the reason I related it back to 2012 vs. Bama. I still remember that sick feeling.

Normally, I'd agree. However, Seattle won the title last season which takes a bit of the sting off, Georgia doesn't have that luxury.

I think we should change it so that only when driving into Georgia from SC you get to see this sign:

The seahawks did choke like Georgia did this super bowl. Unlike Georgia, the seahawks have a championship this decade though.

Your post would have more zing and make you look less stupid if you edited decade to century, considering Florida does not have a championship this decade either. Also, edit you sig to say, "Posting poorly. That's what I do."

My first thought was our GT game this year, really. We were on the 20 vs GT, not the 2, but same sort of quick slant that was jumped by the DB who got there right as the WR was about to receive the ball.

Yep, the style of the pick was the exact same ( video link). I thought we were toast after the blocked XP.
