No, I don't know why you would. Our defense is completely different than the beginning of the season. Counting on the defense playing like they did early in the season with the suspensions, soft play, etc, would be a mistake. That defense isn't showing up in the dome. The defense that's showing up in the dome is the defense of the last 5 weeks. If we had played great at the beginning of the season and terribly recently, then you'd have a point, but there's no reason to expect a one game reversion to crappy defense that we haven't seen in a month and a half.

If you break down their stats UGA plays up to their compeition, their rush defense is better against ranked and FBS teams with a winning record than their average.

I can't trust that "everything's changed since the Florida game" when it's been Ole Miss, Auburn, FCS Team and Georgia Tech.
It was a good game against Florida's average offense and then easy sledding until Saturday.

Of course you can't. I mean, it's impossible to think a team would improve as the season progressed.
It's very interesting that two of those "easy sledding" games were teams y'all faced as well. UGA gave up 10 and 0 points. Bama gave up 14 and 0 points. Of course that means nothing, we'll probably just revert to playing poorly for absolutely no reason other than the fact that you don't trust our defense is much improved over the second half of the season.

Pretty even in terms of scoring D (USCe 17.4 versus UGA 17.7).
USCe's D is slightly stingier - average 20 yards per game less.
IDK man, those defenses are pretty comparable in my mind.
