It doesn't matter. Nothing matters in this thread.

He's 2-1 against Clemson and 8-5 against sc.

Do y'all even try anymore to put any effort into flaming?

All I know is one day Richt will walk away from UGA a very very rich man. He is safe

He comes across as someone who'd be very conservative with his money. He is very young and has a lot of paydays ahead of him too, chances are that he won't be leaving UGA for a long time, I'd go so far as to say that every other SEC school will have turnover at HC from what they have now, before UGA will.

Take all those paychecks into account with that fact he probably doesn't spend a ton of money and I'd imagine he'll have a very stacked nest egg to retire on.

I also think he has a ridiculous buyout IIRC if UGA were to ever let him go

Don't you guys have a date with the Coots this fall? The same could be said for you after that fail in the BCSCG...

What if we both lose would that be a double loss for the Dawgs seeing how 1/2 the Auburn starters are scrubs who were cut from the UGA program?

Richt will most definitely start the season 0-2. The Carolinas are his weakness.

Richt has a winning record vs both teams, what the hell are you talking about?

It would take a devastatingly atrocious season 2-3 years in a row for him to be fired. I honestly don't see any way he will ever be fired. I've said it many many times, the day Richt is no longer our coach it'll be the day he himself decides to walk away.

In 2009 we went 8-5, and in 2010 went 6-7. He was given a memo that said he needed to win at least 9 games in 2011 or he was going to be let go. We won 10 games and the east and his seat hasn't been hot since, and I truly doubt it ever will be.

your fan base is more patient than LSU, Bama and Auburn. Agreed, he will never be let go. To be honest, I don't know how a talented UGA team with all that Georgia football talent can win 6 games.

My point is the pressure will build if they start off 0-2. The games against UT and Missouri become must wins. He would have to beat UF and AU to make it to the SECCG. Even the "mediocrity accepting" UGA Fans will start screaming.

On paper it looks pretty bad, but we were breaking in Aaron Murray and he really struggled.

UGA 2010 roster

The whole team was really young that year, alot of the names you see here, you've heard of, and some in the NFL now, and next to the name you'll see "freshman" after "freshman" after "freshman" on all of those playmakers.

And UGA was in between good running backs. Moreno gone, Crow not yet on campus.

It was also Grantham's first year trying to install a pro-style 3-4 defense.

2010 was a rebuilding year for UGA in the truest sense of the word.

They got their shite together the next year with the new staff and young talent and won the East.

No he doesn't...
quote:

The money Georgia will owe Richt if it fires him without cause also will decrease during the length of the deal. It’s $4.8 million if he is fired after the 2012 season, but that number decreases to $2.4 million after the 2013 season, to $1.6 million after the 2014 season and $800,000 after the 2015 season.

Further more... Richt owes UGA nothing if he leaves...
quote:

Richt won’t have to pay anything to Georgia if he leaves during the length of the contract that runs through Dec. 31, 2016, after that buyout clause was completely removed. If Richt had left after this season in the old deal, he would have owed a minimum of $2 million.

Some fans would get restless, but those are the idiots that have a "win national championships or be fired" mentality. Looking at what he has done, and the recruits that would drop us immediately if we fired Richt, we will not make such a stupid decision.

If you want to talk about Auburn, start an Auburn thread

Just because OP is an auburn fan doesn't mean you can just change the thread in order to deflect
