Tell us again about all the catastrophic damage taking place right now in Gainsville. Don't worry I'll wait.

Listen up bigmouth. I have family in Baton Rouge and I happened to be there during and after Katrina. New Orleans was hammered, not Baton Rouge. So don't try that garbage with me because I know more than you think. Very misleading
is the hurricane making landfall in Gainesville? Is Gainesville "getting hammered"? Is Matthew one of the top natural disasters in US history?

Again - we faced the same situation as UForfeit only worse and manned the frick up and played the games. UForfeit in their safe spaces making sure their kittens and parakeet's survive the storm.

Go try and be a badass somewhere else snowflake.

So if that's the case then you know that the LSU campus was basically the base of all rescue and triage operations during the month of September, right? Players were housing family members that lost their homes in their dorm rooms for months after Katrina.

But you don't know days ahead of time how bad it might be in Gainsville because hurricanes do not follow orders genius. Secondly as mentioned, they wanted the hotel space available for victims in their state, not football fans.

Why aren't the other schools in Florida with home games being crucified for the lack of support of their own societies then?

I am told that hotel space is needed for victims, not football fans. I agree with this.

Florida has more hotel rooms than any state in the US. Orlando, the largest major city to Gainesville has the 3rd most hotel rooms of any city in THE WORLD. In general, these hotels were built for Summer tourism, Spring break and Winter conventions. Occupancy rates are at their lowest in the Fall.

Basically he was saying without mentioning UF by name that they and others made the right call being cautious not knowing what this storm might do.

True leadership at UF would have had a contingency plan or delayed cancellation of the game until the full effect of the storm was known. UF didn't want to play LSU this weekend with a banged up DL and QB and played this thing beautifully.

LSU had a trauma center set up next door to the football stadium and held a game. Fans needing a hotel room and hosting a football game are not mutually exclusive.

UCF postponed their game to November as UF tried to do for LSU. But LSU was too pussy to accept. So...the two schools MOST likely to be affected by the hurricane postponed.

Why is this so hard for you numb nuts to understand?
