The tickets that were sold for the South Alabama game are being used for the Florida game. South Alabama was given less visitor tickets than what an SEC opponent receives (which is common procedure when playing smaller schools). Since many of the tickets in the visitors section were already sold to LSU fans the only real option was to give Florida some tickets in a section that doesn't have assigned seating. The only such section in Tiger Stadium is the student section.
So it was either give Florida some tickets in a corner of the student section, or not give them tickets at all.

I was with LSU since the start on this whole mess... but at this point Alleva and his crew are just coming out looking like asses.

JFYI I have been to red stick a few times and I sat right in the fricking middle of the student section one year with my crazy azz cajun g/f...enjoyed myself watching your Ft Lauderdale QB Jeff Wickersham one year getting blistered...tigah band was kinda quiet that night. Didnt hear much of Neck either. Disappointed me. TS kinda reminded me of the Swamp...but just not quite the same. I didnt have any problems with the locals...if someone would have thrown something at me they would have been drinking milkshakes for a month. I found the girls at Lafayette much prettier btw.
