True.

75-0 is not a game. You're right.

You beat up on a team depleted by WWII.

According to reports, Porter held a loaded handgun to the head of his pregnant girlfriend. He then accused her of sleeping with another player on the football team. She denied it and he shot a round into the wall of her apartment.

As Florida fans, we don't have to explain to Georgia fans how dominant we've been in the past 25 years.

They call it "a small era in history" and try to say that "before that Florida was nothing", well... 25 years is a long time. And this quarter-century of dominance has produced more national championships and Heisman winners than they have seen in their programs history. So don't let them troll you into an argument about who the better program is, just tell them to kiss the rings.

Kinda convenient that you pick the year after 1980.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

I used the year after you won the national championship...no brilliance needed. It went along with my comment that we had won 3 national championship since your last one....but that would take a basic reading comprehension level to figure the mysterious rationale of why I used 1981 as the benchmark year.

I did just that. Thanks for the suggestion:

The drubbings continued to rain down on Florida, except now the Gators couldn't blame the location. They were no longer playing in Georgia's backyard, or even 130 miles south of Athens. No, this time they were playing right in their own recruiting area — and were bludgeoned year after year. The lowlight came in 1942, Georgia's first national championship season. Yes, Florida may have had some of its players fighting overseas, but that doesn't excuse the three quarters of a hundred the Dawgs hung on Florida that day in a 75-0 thumping. Frank Sinkwich ran rings around Florida's defense, and the offense fared no better.

Bragging about a win from 1942 that you weren't even alive to see.

It's the Dawg way.

Kiss the rings, bitch, kiss the rings.

I'm on this message board to practice my reading comprehension skills.

I'd much prefer to have your selective history skills though.

Florida has a lot of past glory. That's true.

Unfortunately, you are now in the McElwain era. There haven't been this many drugs in Florida since the 80s cocaine binges.

It's been cyclical for 85 years I expect it to continue...

30's - 40's... UGA 15-3-1

50's - 60's... UF 12-7-1

70's - 80's... UGA 15-5

90's - 00's... UF 17-3

10's - 20's... UGA 3-2 so far...

UGA 43-39-2 since 1930... UF 24-21 since 1970... pretty even IMO...

I'll take 20-5 since 1990 over 15-3-1 in the 30's and 40's
