Bama also won their games by an average of 6 points more per game than Okie St did. For those lacking, which seems to be alot on here.. Bama outscored their opponents by 72 more points in their margin of victory, than Okie St did.

You ever thought the defenses face better offenses numb nuts?

And they scored a TON more points, as they should.

Why is it that a good defense beating terrible offenses is so impressive to you, but a good offense beating terrible defenses is so worthless?

Ever stop to think, 108 and worse is just plain bad defenses?

Because defense wins games, and championships, alot more often than offenses do. Proven over and over again. And playing defenses that are so bad, overinflates their offensive numbers.

Was the average defense that OSU played worse than #92?

I really don't know - if so, I'll apologize and admit my mistake

Almost every one of the big 12 teams have high powered offenses, therefore the defenses are going to give up more points.

I don't understand how you don't understand that this exact statement is also true if you switch around the words "defense" and "offense"

Average scoring defense OSU played against was 79th.

Average scoring defense Bama played against was 42nd.

OSU averaged a 22 point winning margin in their games.

Bama averaged a 28 point winning margin in their games.

Also, I don't believe this is true - your perception is tainted by LSU/Bama this year.

They were high powered against Lsu in the CG, against Bama in the Cotton Bowl and the NC game, against Ole Miss in the Cotton. Every single time, they prove to be overrated. This year is no different.

Bama won by a larger margin against tougher defenses. What is confusing to you about that?

So in other words, Bama's defense played the 92nd best offenses, while OSU's offense played the 79th best defenses.

Now why was my statement inaccurate?

Its not hard to have a larger MOV if the offenses you play suck. There are 3 phases to the game. All 3 influence MOV. You have brought up 1. Conveniently its the one that favors bama

I understand what you're saying, but as I said, margin of victory against defenses, should be a clear cut in OSU's favor, since they are scoring against bad defenses. Yet, it's Bama's offense that has a larger margin of victory against defenses that are nearly 2 times better than those faced by OSU.

go to ncaa.com or ncaa.org, you can look up all you want. It wouldn't hurt to actually look at things and research, instead of repeating what folks on the Tiger Rant or Bleacher report are regurgitating.
