Facilities are something we tend to do right. It's going to look really big, and it will be clean AF when done.
The curvy shape is really sweet. It will stand out among the red-brick boxes around the league.

Florida had one of the longest sell out streaks in CFB history.
If your team has done it for longer, let's hear it.
Thought so. Sold out every game even under Zook. Muschamp cost us our sell out streak.

Can't get a good root system down in Razorback Stadium. Not enough sunlight in the stadium. We've tried before and it just gets torn to shreds with divots all over the field.

Pretty sure Arkansas has an excellent turf manager.
That field only gets maybe 5 hours of full sun a day. Not only is it orientated north south with high sides, but it sits in a bowl, which blocks indirect light as well. Bringing up the south side at all is only going to make that issue even worse. Grass needs more than 5 hours of sun. Unless you are using fescue.
Anyways, I haven't been by there in a couple weeks. Looks good! Coming along nicely.

Looks nice. What will the capacity be?
Is this the last year you play games in Little Rock?

Capacity goes up ~4800 iirc. So, maxing out around 78,000~80,000. But very close to the field and plush digs, with more luxury boxes than anybody. I'm pleased and proud. Only thing left to do to our palace is fix the west side facade and Razorback road. It'll end up being a plaza and grand entrance after they bury razorback road under it, or divert it somehow.

at least one more season in War Memorial... right? I thought we had to have one more SEC game there prior to it going completely away...

The general consensus is we'll play Vandy there next year and that's it.

After completion, capacity will be 76,800. The new addition will add 4,800 seats.
Here is the breakdown of new seating:
Lower Level Club Seats: 1,160
Upper Level Club Seats: 1,061
Field Level Loge Seating: 80
Mid-Level Loge Seats: 272
Suites: 476 seats in the suites
Here is a link with all of the information to the new addition: LINK
The contract in Little Rock is up in 2018. They don't publically say what is going to happen yet, but everyone knows that 2018 will be the last game in LR. Due to the contract, the game in 2018 has to be an SEC game, so everyone assumes that will be Vanderbilt.

that cant be right. our record attendance is 76,000 already :/
and that WMS contract can be bought out, and that needs to happen. You dont do 100 million renovations and voluntary give up home games. Stupid af.

Actual stadium capacity was 72,000 but we used to put overflow bleachers on top of the SEZ, which put capacity past 76,000 already.
Those are gone. With standing-room-only, which this addition has a lot of, we can possibly get 79,000 in for big games.
ETA: With this configuration, capacity was already 76,000 plus:

The standing room only areas in the NEZ will allow for quite a bit of overflow. It is generally assumed the top level SRO will be used for recruits and families. The NEC has a large SRO area, too. I'd say 4,000 or more is possible in both of those areas, especially if they bring in portable stands like they did in the past.

i liked sitting up there. #smokingsectionlol

I never sat up there.
This expansion is perfect and will maximize ROI. We seem to have endless demand for corporate suites at all of our facilities thanks to the business community.
The plan is to discount upper deck seats for families, which is something that should have been done a decade ago.

Stadium looks nice and that addition is very attractive.
I have been to three LSU-ARk games in Fayetteville (the last three). Great stadium and nice setting. I wish most Arkie fans were as great and nice as their stadium.

Yeah, the green bleachers against the green hills makes it look like the people are floating there.
