Well, now that it's public, he'll be viewed as toxic by every school. I could see where it'd be hard though, especially a 25 year old, as he was probably spending more time around them than his wife by a wide margin.

Exactly. He was very stupid. Are we gonna pretend that Geno hasn't fricked the majority of his players? Please. The difference is, Geno is smart enough to wrap it up and not get caught.

This is exactly what you get for hiring a freaking 25 year old as your head coach. Ludicrous

I think La. Tech was pretty desperate. They were looking to overcome the monumental gaffe they made by not giving former player Kim Mulkey the contract she wanted. Only to see her win a national championship at Baylor.

So are there no assistant coaches in women's basketball who are men? Because most of the graduate assistants and youngest assistants would be 25-35 (at least they are in the men's game).

Honest question, I have no idea.

If you are married to AnDe, there is absolutely no need to have an affair. AnDe is hot, very nice, and a first class lady. I feel for her going through this. He not only lost his career, he might be losing the best thing that ever happened to him. I always wondered why she ended up with him. She is way way way out of his league.

In sure there plenty that are men and I'm sure some illicit behavior occurs between them and players from time to time. But this is a 16 year old looking head coach only 2-3 years older than his senior players who are at their athletic peak. Just smacks of bad decisions by a lot of people

I don't know AnDe, but I know that the guy was married and I don't buy the idea that a married guy working with women just inevitably means he will run around.

Sucks for her and their family.

Agree - does seem like a bad cocktail of a situation to throw a still immature "kid" into.

Just read that summit was hired to be the head coach at only 23 years old, 2 years after he was just a student assistant on his moms team at Tennessee.

Seriously, what was La Tech thinking? They're historically an outstanding WBB program

The last women's basketball head coach I remember getting caught sleeping with players was Pokey chatman at LSU. They had to let her go.
