Kiffin will be the HC at UF. It sounds crazy. But his attitude fits in with what Florida likes. Cocky swag. Add in he gets a bad rap in terms of HC. Oakland always sucks and he was 29. To young. Tenn he did well, but screwed them. Usc he had sanctions, but he actually wasn't all that bad. He needed Saban to show him how to be professional. He is a brilliant offensive mind. Will prove it the next two years. Im already assuming Mac isn't lasting. Recruits too poorly, and not very good at hiring good assistants. Its coming..and he will fit the Florida swag Spurrier and Meyer had. I personally can't wait. Bring on the hate. I want him here. His recruiting and offensive mind, and Saban making him more of a refined professional. He is going to be a stud.

You know there's a lot of speculation there and it's not all that great of an OP...
...but I actually could see this happening now that you mention it.

He's going to sing Rocky Top all night long after beating UT.

Put the pipe down. Saban's D and 4 star talent made him look better than he is and he's proven that he's not a good leader.

He took Blake Sims and Coker and won two SEC titles and a National Title. But hey, like you said, he had nothing to do with it.

I feel like I'm the only LSU fan that advocated for kiffin to be head coach. he's very high risk, high reward.
it's not like you become the youngest NFL head coach in history by being a huge dolt

Nussmeier would have heavily flopped with Blake Sims

Hands down the worst buzzword created.
That said, you're implying he's going to turn around FAU's fortunes enough to warrant an SEC power to look upon him favorably in a coaching search.
Also, in your scenario, Florida has just fired a Saban disciple and turns around and hires another coach who worked under the Sith Lord...
All around unlikely and I'm sorry your coach has yellow teeth and no recruiting skills.

Kiffin got offered an NFL job at 29. He was far, far to young. He never learned how to actually be a head coach. Saban guided him I believe. Anyone who thinks he isn't a brilliant offensive mind should go watch his USC offenses. Or just see Alabama go from run heavy pro style to what he created. He had a freshman Qb and made work of the entire Sec. He exploits match ups as well as any offensive mind in CFB. His use of Drake last year was so brilliant during the Florida game I was just in awe.

Kiffin isn't a Saban disciple. He is simply refined by Saban. He is more characteristic of Pete than Saban. Outgoing, young at heart, etc. He fits the Pete Carroll mold, he just needed a little discipline and to learn how to develop a program, not just recruit and run with it. As for the Florida thing. I think everyone kind of feels Mac isn't lasting here. Usc, Texas, Lsu, etc. All the big programs seem to have a coach for the near future. Florida is likely the next major program to need a new coach. He will have strong ties in Florida recruiting, HC experience, and Sec experience. Its a perfect hire for Florida if he proves himself. Just saying, it adds up. Mac is over his head, and Kiffin will be the prime candidate in two years. No job seems like it will be open unless a crazy move happens that is better than UF.

It's a good thing that LSU has such a handsome head coach with no physical flaws, or you would have nothing to insult others about.

I never called Kiffin a Saban Disciple. Merely that CJM was one and Kiffin having recent ties to Saban might make the school wary of another Saban connection (seeing as how CJM has worked out).
Also you're assuming a lot. That Mac will begin failing big time, that Kiffin will make a strong statement with FAU, and that his past sins at USC and UTk will be overlooked by a Florida athletic department looking for a solid hire (if the 1st what if comes to fruition)

I think Jay-Z will be the next UF coach. He's got more swag.

Making some good points. The more I think about it, the better it sounds. CLK *would* be a pretty good fit there especially if he makes significant progress for FAU and shows that he's matured. This also fits into the time frame where Gator apathy for Coach Mac will probably reach a peak.

Ill assume you meant 5 star or do you have your own recruiting service that only goes up to 4 stars?

Doesn't seem very likely .
