You are acting like a petulant child.

I doubt anyone really cares what 'Bama nation' does.

They're going to get a mulligan if we don't stop it. You have to figure, too, that, if Alabama had won, then LSU would only have one loss and the Tigers would get the redo. This is because, apparently, no conference can really play football in this country except the SEC, which invented the sport in 1992.
The play that changed football was on yesterday.
SEC started conference championships.
Everyone else just hating.

Just STFU for now.
And the LSU fans posting threads to the tune of about 1 about every 2 minutes about it facilitates this in what way?

Everyone should actually read the cited article before posting a response here. THEN come back.
Another sampling from the article (and I'm sampling it here because it's basically a summation of the sentiment everywhere outside the state of Alabama):
Drive one half hour outside of any SEC state.
Take a poll.
THAT is what the rest of the country thinks about an LSU-Bama rematch.
This isn't a who is most worthy post. It's a holy shite look at Twitter and Facebook and national media blow the frick up hating a rematch. That's all.

But imagine how idiotic this system is through LSU's binoculars. While the Bayou Bengals are beating their brains out against Georgia in the conference title game this Saturday at the Georgia Dome -- aka, the crime scene -- Alabama will be enjoying chicken wings and "Tosh.0" reruns and resting up. "I won't lie to you," Alabama linebacker Dont'a Hightower told The Associated Press. "It's going to be good to get a week off. A lot of guys are banged up." Welcome to BCS logic. Of course, if Alabama wins Walking Dead II, the Tide will be … what? National champions? How? They'll have one loss, same as all the other contenders. They'll have split the home-and-home series with LSU. They won't even have won their SEC division, much less their conference. Yet they could wind up petting the crystal football. Wouldn't that be special?

Bama going to the NCG is no worse than LSU going if they fail to beat Georgia.

This +1.
I've been to DC, Dallas, St. Louis and Phoenix in the last three weeks and this is accurate beyond measure.
There is anti-SEC and rematch sentiment. And there was no room for argument with anyone I was around and I was surprised.
The next 48 hours will be fun.

False; LSU is playing an extra game that Bama does not even have to play.

so, that excludes anyone from the Big 12 now, right?

If I spend the entire day in a sauna and sweat my arse completely off, will it change anything? If you spend the next 36 hrs or so wringing you hands in desperate prayer that there will not be a REMATCH, will it change the outcome in any way?
Do this. Put on the red slippers, click your heels three times and say, "I hope there is no REMATCH. I hope there is no REMATCH. I hope there is no REMATCH." Maybe that will work for you.

Who does Alabama play today?
Oh yeah, right.
Oh yeah, right.

no. A 1-loss team that plays an extra game and loses in their conference championship game has a better case than one that doesn't play in a championship game, period. That includes both your team and OSU, but especially yours since OSU does not have the opportunity to play in a championship game. At least OSU would have qualified for their conference championship game if they win tomorrow.

The only thing tougher right now than acknowledging a rematch is the argument against a rematch.
There is not another team that a person can make a legit argument for with a straight face.
Rick Reilly comes across as an uninformed idiot in that article. And i think anyone who follows college football recognizes that.
As tragic as the OSU plane crash was, it had zero effect on that game. Stanford and Va Tech would be no more than sacrificial lambs, and Boise State - please.
