Butch is like the John Rockefeller of snake oil. Pretty soon the SEC is gonna come in and force him to disperse some of it among other schools.

Florida wasn't in the top 25. No excuses anymore.
All of us opposing fans with functioning brain cells knew Botch was a fraud. Volfan30 was the only Tennessee fan that was with us.

not going to happen. a more realistic scenario at this point is Tennessee has a 2-5 start and has to almost win out to make another shitty bowl game

Hogs-Vols is a huge game for Bert and Butch. The losers seat has to warm up considerably. Neither seem to win close games, but one of them has to win on Saturday. They both need a win in the worse way.

I will say this, if Butch lets his balls drop UT has a chance to win the East. Dobbs has the chance to be the best QB in the SEC if Butch lets him play

based on what? the kid has a below average arm. he can't throw the deep ball and has questionable accuracy on mid range throws. he also does not appear to have a great football IQ as a QB

I am glad to see you have that attitude. You guys are a couple series away from being 4-0. From my perspective you have a darn good football team.
The snap judgement fans are always MIA during the shortfalls. Butch has experienced 2 VERY HARD lessons but in the end they will make him a better coach. Adversity is always part of the formula to reaching the pinnacle of CFB.
Just my opinion.....but as a UGA fan, I like to think each time we stumble our program uses that experience to be more prepared the next time opportunity knocks. I look at our losses to LSU and BAMA in our last 2 SEC CG appearances. We greatly improved from the LSU loss to the Alabama loss and it showed on the field. We just lost to a better football team on each occasion. Simple as that from my perspective.
Success is forged not handed over......that goes for anything challenging.

Great thread. As a Bama fan, I think UT should definitely keep Butch as long as possible.
