I laughed my arse off that this. It's true, these kids care about their coaches a lot and don't want them fired, but that's why you have a board and administration to make the tough decisions. Those wealthy boosters also tend to make sure their opinion counts. I agree that UT is still a year away, but this guy has shown he doesn't have the coaching chops. Maybe the best comparison for him is Coach O. He brought in a lot of NFL talent to oxford and came close in some big games, but just didn't know how to make the right decisions to win games.

Hindsight is easy, I know...but him taking that FG instead of going for 6 vs Oklahoma was all I needed to see. That was a scared play call. Tennessee is a proud program that shouldn't be making pussy calls like that. Go win the damn game, Butch.

They already are. Seen a guy sell two to a uga fan here at Carolina ale house for 40 a piece in section D.

This down period and especially the losses to OU and Florida seem like karmic justice for the Fulmer years. The Florida game was heartbreaking enough to make me almost feel bad for y'all, then I just couldn't help but laugh about it the rest of the night.

I really hate UT, but at the end of the day they have lost 2 games to teams in the top 25 by the slimmest of margins. They certainly have the talent to beat any team in the SEC and all it takes is one great game to boost a young player's confidence. This weekend will be make or break for both UT and Arkansas. Whoever loses will probably be lucky to keep those kids motivated, but I can see whichever team wins getting to 8 wins. Besides Bama and UGA, I'd still pick UT to win every other game they play.
