That goat got ran out of town because he couldn't compete with Saban.

Weird, wonder how he got that winning record against him?

I don't think Saban at LSU is relevant to Tubbs' demise at auburn.

In late 2011 Aubies on here were still claiming Chizik's CEO style delegatjon was better than Saban's micromanaging dictatorship. That's the argument I heard then from all the Aubies. Pretty funny.
Answer your question, yes, for a long time the core Auburn fanbase was convinced that Chizik was a great coach, better than Saban

Tubs is coaching at some non-Power 5 school now.
Pretty sure we won the war.

I don't know. He looks pretty happy yet the emotional scars he inflicted upon some bama fans will never be recovered from.

Nah, 36-0 exorcised those demons.
Good for him. Seems like a win win.

Ahh the Bama-Auburn Rivalry. Turns adults into snot sniffling kids every time.
And I'm even further away in NC. Glad I don't have morons bringing this kind of shite up everyday.
I was in Alabama at my parents' house for the IB last year. My brother, a big Bama fan, was there too. He almost turned into Ricky there at the end.

I honestly don't experience much rivalry interactions day-to-day living in Alabama.

Tubby gets trolled everytime he looks in the mirror and sees the Cincinnati logo.

Coaches come and go. Doubt he has any regrets. Well, maybe you're right.
We were talking about how nice it would be to have Tubs back as a DC. He always put good defenses on the field.
