whatever bud. Last I heard, Chavis was awful too or any other coach or player that leaves the boot. Hell, we thought Muschamp was a slam dunk hire, or any of the other 5 defensive coordinators...I'll take an under the radar guy with a shite-ton of SEC experience and inner knowledge of LSU's squad.

But Steele is terrible. No need to sugar coat it.

I feel like I am excited to see some future NFL Pro Bowlers play in Maroon- at least one for the last time.

I hear you, but left tackle and quarterback are the challenge. Gus operates a quarterback system and it's critical to our success. Right now we don't have a D1 quarterback on the roster. Perhaps Woody Barrett, but he's too young. Jf3 has speed but he is like Onterio Mccalebb, about 175 pounds soaking wet. He's not gonna make it through the season even if he does win the job

Same feeling as last year.

Tough opener.
Gotta find a way to play mistake free ball against OM
Tennessee scares me for the first time in years. Welcome back Vols
LSU. Enough said
Auburn is always dramatic. Will be again
A&M with Knight could be a 2012 type team. Whew! Enough of them already
State, Arkansas is always tough

Let's tee it up

I feel good about us but we do have some holes to fill.

Offense:
Best QB in the SEC with more time to learn the system. His main focus has been improving to put the right protection in place pre snap. With the lose of 2 NFL tackles this will be a need and could help a lot. WRs will miss Treadwell and Core but has great depth and Engram. The oline is strong if Little can step in at LT we will good to go. But If Little isn't ready we will have to move people creating depth issues. RB we have good players coming back but also 2 freshmen that could take our running game to the next level.

Defense:
Dline will be elite with good depth. Haynes is one of the top DEs in the SEC and DJ Jones is one of the strongest men in the NCAA and will be a stud this year. Speaks will grow on what he did last year and Brown is a great SDE. Also we missed Gross last year and he is back. Gates will be an awesome OLB and if our grad transfer can fill MLB then LB will be strongest it has been. CB will be a great strength. At safety Conner will be elite Hampton will be good at FS but our third safety we have young talent with back up experience.

We have the talent to be great but just need a few players to step up.

State's main question mark is at the qb position. Honestly, State has 4 quarterbacks that could fight for the starting job . Majority of fans think it's going to be Fitzgerald but it's too early to tell. Other than at the QB position. State will have to depend heavily on the running game until the QB develops through the season. That all depends on the O-line which was our weakest link last year. The defense will be fine. If there is a weak link, it will be in the secondary. Overall, I can see 6-6 to 8-4.

Not all that optimistic far as a natty goes ... Think the coaching changes could have a bigger impact than most fans want to admit ... Not mention the oline ...

We should beat everybody we play. Can't see one team that we should lose to. Usc I know nothing about. In conference, shouldn't lose. It's been taking a miraculous/fluke to beat us anyway. If we don't turn the ball over 5 times or have some qb go all tom brady on us, we're good.

Anything over 8 wins and I will be happy. OL should be much improved. Chubb looks like he'll be back sooner than expected. The DL, wr, and qb has me nervous.

I like Staley . He has a huge upside but I do think he is immature.

D1 quarterback on the roster.
Writing Sean White off after his Freshman year is fricking stupid. Not many red shirt Freshmen are asked to lead their team in the SEC West.

With all the coverage in recuriting I feel people expect so much more from players right away. Some players take time to develops. You can't write a player off after one or two years or hell even 3 years with a redshirt.

Defensively, really good. For one, Alabama has been the most consistent team in the conference in terms of putting out elite defenses every year. Secondly, guys like Allen, Williams, Evans, Payne, Anderson, Foster, and Hand return up front. This year, the secondary should be the highlight, with Eddie Jackson returning (6 INTs last year, 2 returned for touchdowns), Humphrey (started as a freshman and was solid), Minkah Fitzpatrick (probably our best freshman last year), and Harrison.

Offensively, it's hard to judge because we don't know who the QB will be. History shows we'll be fine, as long as he manages the game. I don't think it will be that hard with the receiving core Alabama brings back. Calvin Ridley was one of the most explosive receivers in the nation last year, and Ardarius was a great compliment. Gehrig Dieter also comes in as a transfer, then we also bring back Robert Foster, who was the leading receiver before going down with injury. Then of course you throw in OJ Howard, and it's one of the best receiving units out there. Runningbacks should be fine also. Bo and Harris looked solid at spring, but there still is reason for skepticism.

Piersbacher moved to center, which will be awesome, because Kelly was a huge loss. I don't know the deal with Robinson, but assuming he's gone, I think 5-star Jonah Williams could take his place as a freshman. Big shoes, but Robinson did the same in 2014 and many people doubted he could do it. Overall, other the offensive line should be good, bUT not great. Dominick Jackson won't be hard to replace at RT; Jackson was just awful at times last year and got abused in the title game.

Special teams unit sort of scares me. Griffith caught on last season, but still has issues. Then I have no idea who replaces Kenyan as a KR and who replaces Cyrus as a PR. But the good news is that JK Scott is back and he's probably one of the best punters in the nation.
