Seems the OP may be getting his confidence from chatter on the 247 message boards.

Eh, after following his recruitment for a while now I felt more confident when everyone was saying Kansas or Kentucky. Would be nice though.

I don't know anything about his academics and he may well go to Alabama. Basically, I know nothing. I'm not an insider. Its just been my sense for a while that he loves the attention and there also seems like a lot of rumors coming out. Kentucky for a while, then Alabama, then Auburn and it wasn't only JLee reporting that. Why would anyone go to Auburn, must be disinformation.

Is anyone keeping track of the ban bets going on in here? The OP made it known he was game for a ban bet and several AU posters have chimed in that they are too. Would love to see ban bets that actually get honored otherwise it's just ridiculous.

will any of the Alabama or Kentucky writers be in attendance for this announcement? That's normally the tell-tell sign on where the kid is going.

Well, he's from Huntsville, which is only about 1.5 hours from Tuscaloosa, so having Bama writers there doesn't mean as much as having UK or KU writers there would.

Tidesports is sending their basketball recruiting guy, Greg Ostendorf.. earlier this morning he predicted Trevor would choose Alabama after a recent conversation they had.

My prediction is that he picks bama. I still don't think he has qualified yet and I would n't be surprised to see him in JUCO or prep school next season.

If he doesn't qualify then I'd expect him to go to JUCO or play overseas like Jennings of the Bucks did. Make money and get your mandatory year out of high school out of the way.

(Not saying that would be the smart thing to do, but it wouldn't surprise me)

He might do it, but he isn't a pro prospect right now, so he better be willing to play several years over seas.

With Harrow leaning to the Cards tells me Lacey is wanting to be a Cat. Word up here is Kansas or UK.
