Lacey isn't exactly Releford as far as importance, but he's one of the few players on the team that is talented enough to get his own shot when necessary. He also has a tendency to knock down big 3s. He's got a ton of experience in Grant's system as well.

It's a big loss. Not crippling, but big.

Good choice for the young man. He will not be developed under Grant. Best of luck Trevor, business is business.

Grant is done. Time to hire Bruce Pearl.

I said this right before last season and some Bama fans called me crazy.

I did as well, pending what would happen in 2012-13. And look what happened.... we got worse! So yeah, I've been in Fire Grant mode for a while, and I think any Alabama fan who truly keeps up with it is as well

PLEASE MINNESOTA... hire this guy so we don't have to fire him and pay him to not be our coach!

They already have a coach now.

This blows....You gotta keep your 5 stars at the program Grant.....sigh. Even though he looked like he didn't give a frick for the most part....he was still one of the better players on the team.

frick em, dont need him.

I dont see a player transfering for reasons that no one even knows about as a reason to think that our coach needs to be fired. Dude was overrated as hell anyway.

Moving on.

That is a pretty big loss. I think he had an effort problem. He seemed to check out at times and make a lot of dumb mistakes. He always had a lot of potential, but he was never consistent enough to live up to the hype.

I'm not sure I would want to play in that "offense" if I were him either. Hell, he could be a superstar, but how could you tell? What a frustrating program..
