I enjoyed watching him abuse Auburn during his career at Bama. Does this mean those games don't count, or are you just a POS who enjoys the demise of individuals who don't play for your precious Aunurn Tigers?

You're not wrong. LT was the last true franchise runningback.

DeMarco Murray had 392 rushing attempts two years ago. That is 20 more rushing attempts than the most LT had in a season in his career.

Really? Come on now

I'd say any top 5 pick/bust could go into that, however contract wise, the new stipulations after ?2010? make any of the previous bust by far a bigger bust

Given his contract and career, hard not to label him as the biggest bust ever

No doubt but the biggest bust in NFL history? Hardly

I don't have a dog in this fight as I'm neither Bama nor AU. But off the top of my head, I can't think of too many worse - maybe Mandarich, Vince Young, Leinart, and Leaf. But after that, who else? I'd say top 10 for sure.

Great. Is he a franchise runningback that will carry a team for a decade?

Onterio McCalebb was never going to make it in the NFL, hence why he went undrafted. He changed to cornerback and later to receiver, before finally being released with an injury settlement. He was too small and his skill set didn't fit well.

Mike Dyer, well, he's an idiot and obviously declined as a player when he left Auburn. At one point, he was the second best running back in the SEC behind Trent Richardson, and then it went to shite. He sat out a year or two, and then couldn't even start for Louisville.

Ben Tate showed some promise, but flames out. He had some injuries.

How can you mention Young and Leinart and not Jamarcus?

I like the confidence, but the belief seems detached by reality

and I'm sorry but can we go ahead and say that Nick Saban owns AU24?

It's clear that the past 10 years of football has altered him to the point of his head space being 100% the property of Nick Saban

roll tide AU24

I should have remembered him - he is definitely top 10, probably top 5.

He is a bell cow running back. Had he not been traded to Philly he absolutely would have. There is a reason Dallas took a RB in the first round this year.

One year doesn't make a bell cow, just a flash in the pan. That was also the only year Murray lasted the whole season, hard to be a bell cow when you can't be relied on to play. There is a reason the Cowboys didn't keep him and it's because anyone can run behind that line, even old arse McFadden did good behind them.
